The Two Great Wars (Part 1)

Below is but a small measure of revelation that my father had received from the Lord. I hope this will be a blessing to you. All that is written below are the words of my father.

THE TWO GREAT WARS (Part 1)

The first great war was a spiritual battle. That battle occurred between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2. The last great war will likewise be a spiritual battle. It is referenced in Scripture as Armageddon. In between the first and last great wars we have a constant series of on-going battles, but not as severe as the first and last wars. When we were born from above, we became participants whether knowingly or unknowingly, it does not matter) in a war that we did not start.

3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 2 Corinthians 10:3-5

A word of caution ... we charismatics have "learned" that when something does not go the way we think it should, we just need to say, "I rebuke that evil spirit in the name of the Lord." Our warfare does NOT work that way! The weapons of our warfare are not carnal. There is a prerequisite. That prerequisite is to walk in the Spirit, to be obedient to the Lord and His ways. When Jesus walked the face of the earth, He could cast out evil spirits in a second. Why? Because He never knew sin; because He always did the will of the Father; He was obedient even unto death.


10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; Ephesians 6:10-18

The only way that we can stand against the wiles of the devil is to put on the WHOLE armour of God, not just a part or two. Note that we are to stand. The three functions of the Levitical priesthood were: 

8 At that time the LORD separated the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of the LORD, to stand before the LORD to minister unto Him, and to bless in His name, unto this day.

9 Wherefore Levi hath no part nor inheritance with his brethren; the LORD is his inheritance, according as the LORD thy God promised him. Deuteronomy 10:8-9

Those verses are the prophetic prototype of the priesthood after the order of Melchizedek. The order is significant. "To bear the ark of the covenant of the Lord" is "Christ in you, the hope of glory." "To stand before the LORD to minister unto Him" does not speak of what most believers call "worship" when we assemble together. Ezekiel 44 makes a clear distinction between those priests who minister to the house (the body of Christ) and the priests, the sons of Zadok, who minister to the Lord. The Lord calls the former set of priests an abomination (Ezekiel 44:7-14).

And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. Matthew 24:6

1 From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?

2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.

3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?

6 But He giveth more grace. Wherefore He saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

8 Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.

10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up. James 4:1-10 

Genesis 1:1-3

1 In the beginning God created the heaven[s] and the earth.

2a And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep [abyss].

There is, of course, nothing in the natural realm that is "without form." The very fact of material existence predicates a shape to matter. It may be as fluid and fleeting as a cloud, but there is still form. The earth that became a wreck and a ruin was not made so in the beginning (Genesis 1:1). Isaiah uses the same Hebrew word to tell us that the Lord did not create the earth a wreck ("in vain," Isaiah 45:18).

The earth has always been a mirror image of its inhabitants. When Lucifer was an unsinning cherub, the earth was perfect. When he fell, it became a wreck and a ruin. When Adam was created innocent, the world was a garden of Eden. When he fell, God cursed the ground for man's sake, and it became a mirror of fallen Adam.

2b And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters [or wasting].

If the Spirit of God does not move, there can be nothing but darkness and death. The Hebrew word for "move" comes from a primitive root that means "to brood." It is beautifully translated elsewhere, 

11 As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings:

12 So the LORD alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him.

Deuteronomy 32:11-12

So does the Lord move on behalf of His people. The word that is translated "moved" in Genesis 1:2b is "fluter" in Deuteronomy 32:11. The heart may be an abyss of sin, but the Lord flutters over it, brooding with desire to have light (understanding) penetrate it.

Note the order: the Spirit of God moves first and then God speaks forth His word (Verse 3, below). This order is consistent throughout the Bible; for example:

21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.

22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.

23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship Him.

24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.

John 4:21-24

3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

John tells us that "In the beginning was the Word ..." When we read, "And God said ..." we have the going forth of the Word ... Christ. In the first chapter of Genesis, "And God said" occurs ten times. That is the Word in action. "By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth ... For He spoke, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast" (Psalm 33:6, 9).


5 This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.

6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

7 But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin. 1 John 1:5-7

To whom is the Spirit through John speaking? Who is "we"? John is speaking to all those over all of time who have been born from above. Note the "If" in Verse 6 and 7. In other words, to simply say that "I am a born-again Christian and I will go to heaven one day" is not sufficient if we want to please the Lord. The Church at Corinth could (and undoubtedly did) make that statement. But John says there is more required for believers to have fellowship one with another ... namely to walk in the light and not walk in darkness. Darkness does not speak of natural darkness. Now there can be no question that most crimes are committed in the darkness, and sinful lusts take their hold when the lights are put out. "He that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God" (John 3:21). But let us think about spiritual darkness, which means a lack of understanding His ways, a lack of discernment, or ignorance. Another, perhaps worse, state is to understand his ways and purposes but not walk in them. To whom much is given, much is required. But all things are of God.

For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure. Philippians 2:13

What grace! Amazing grace!

Finally (but there is no finally to the Word of God),

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

Is Hebrews 4:12 true only if the Lord Himself speaks the word of God? Or can that verse apply to the word of God as spoken through a member of the body of Christ?


19 And Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground.

20 And all Israel from Dan even to Beersheba knew that Samuel was established to be a prophet of the LORD. 1 Samuel 3:19-20

Verse 19 is simply amazing! The same was true with Stephen, Paul, Elijah, Ezekiel, and others.

12 And there came a writing to him [Jehoram, king of Judah] from Elijah the prophet, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of David thy father, Because thou hast not walked in the ways of Jehoshaphat thy father, nor in the ways of Asa king of Judah,

13 But hast walked in the way of the kings of Israel, and hast made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to go a whoring, like to the whoredoms of the house of Ahab, and also hast slain thy brethren of thy father's house, which were better than thyself:

14 Behold, with a great plague will the LORD smite thy people, and thy children, and thy wives, and all thy goods:

15 And thou shalt have great sickness by disease of thy bowels, until thy bowels fall out by reason of the sickness day by day. 2 Chronicles 21:12-15

The amazing part (according to the dates in one of my old Bibles) is that the writing came to Jehoram several years AFTER Elijah was translated. Elijah had seen something set in motion, so he knew what the end result would be. If we take any given rifle and know all of the mechanical specifications of that rifle, and we point the rifle in a certain direction at a given angle, we can predict rather accurately where the bullet will fall. The same is true of a bow and arrow.

The Lord told Ezekiel to "prophesy to the mountains of Israel" (Ezekiel 36:1). That does not speak of natural, physical mountains. The Lord told Ezekiel to prophesy upon the bones (Ezekiel 37:4). The Lord told Ezekiel to prophesy unto the wind (Ezekiel 37:9). The Lord also told Ezekiel to prophesy against Mount Seir (Ezekiel 35:2) and against Gog (Ezekiel 38:1). In none of those cases did any person hear Ezekiel's prophecies with their natural ears. In other words, the spoken word of God is quick and powerful and will accomplish that for which it is sent. No man has to hear with his natural ears. It is like a radio or television transmitter with so much power that its message never diminishes over time or distance. Further the word of God will never return unto Him void (Isaiah 55:11).

Such will be the power granted to the Lord's hidden work that He has been in process of for a number of years. This work is not currently seen in the visible church on earth. Yes, the manifestation of the sons of God will definitely happen. The Master will one day (soon) unveil His masterpiece for all of the world to see. It is this masterpiece of the Lord that will do battle with the kings of the east. Guess who wins?

In Part 1 of this series, we looked at the first great war, which was a spiritual battle that took place between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2. We also briefly outlined the on-going spiritual battle between the first great war and the last great war. Now let us try to understand the last great war. As always, we can only share that which we have received as of this point in time.

Armageddon: The Last Great Battle

Revelation 16:10-16
10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

The "fifth angel" is mentioned only one other time in Scripture, in Revelation 9:1 (And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.) "Five" in Scripture refers to grace. There is still time after the fifth angel pours out his vial for men to repent (and that word, repent, applies to Christians as well as heathens). The word "seat" occurs 65 times in scripture. Most of those occurrences speak of the "judgment seat" or the "mercy seat." Revelation 2:13 says that Satan's seat was/is in Pergamos which means "a tower, fortified, or married to power." The church and state were married by Constantine in 310 A.D. Many Christians today are still trying to make democracy "better" by mixing it with Christianity. That, of course, will never happen. (In reality, the mixture of Christianity with democracy becomes part of the kingdom of the beast.)

Note that the Lord causes the kingdom of the beast to be full of darkness, which causes great pain and sore. The kingdom of the beast does not consist of fallen angels only. That kingdom includes those believers who have not "come out of her." The "darkness" is not simply physical darkness. It includes spiritual darkness. Come out of her does not state that you are part of the kingdom of beasts, but we do partake of judgment.

3 by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4

How can anyone fall away from that which he never had?

12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.

Six is the number of man and man's ways. This speaks of the judgment of God. In Revelation 9:14 the sixth Angel visits the great River Euphrates for the first time. We believe that the Euphrates speaks of the visible church in America. For more specifics on the four heads (rivers) that flowed out of Eden, see Attachment 1).

The first visit of the sixth Angel with a trumpet to the Euphrates (Revelation 9:14) ensues in a sustained warning judgment upon those who have misconstrued and abused the abundant supply provided by the Living God. They are absorbed in the works of their hands who worship devils and idols of every sort; they are preoccupied with murder, sorcery, sexual immorality, and thefts.

This first visit to Euphrates signifies the destructive forces bound and sustained in prosperity and abundance. When the provision abundantly supplied by the Holy Father is taken for granted and is wasted on debauchery the messengers of judgment are released.

The second and last visit of the sixth Angel to the Great River is not with a trumpet of warning and selective judgment. The Messenger now completely dries up the Great River. (Revelation 16: 12). All restraint is removed; the Abundant Supply is dried up. The Source (Jesus) has withdrawn the waters of the good and abounding River. Ichabod has been written. The way for the kings of the East is prepared; they will be gathered through deceptive miracles.

Who are the kings of the East? This does not speak of China and/or Russia. The kings of the East does not speak of the natural realm. (This is not to say that there will be no natural counterpart of that which is spiritual.) In Scripture, "east" predominantly speaks of the judgment of God, through either a natural or spiritual force, including the enemies of God's people. That is why Judah was placed on the east side of the camp when the Israelites moved (to serve as a protection from the enemy). One specific example is what the Lord calls "His great army" in Joel 2:1-11. That army does not consist of mature believers; on the contrary it is the same as the "kings of the East."

13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

Who is the sower of the seed that appears to be grain but is tares? Lucifer! Who are the unclean, frog-like, spirits coming out of the mouth of the dragon, beast, and false prophet? They are the emissaries of Lucifer! Here we see the Satanic trinity, the counterfeit of the Heavenly One Tri-unity. This unholy trinity, described not as it appears but as it is, has its dedicated media-propaganda tool. Where there are tadpoles there must be frogs. Frogs metamorphose from tadpoles. Regardless of appearance, a frog is always present in every tadpole. By appearance a tadpole has no resemblance to a frog. A better creature cannot be found to signify deception. The counterfeit trinity emerges from its tadpole state to reveal its true identity. Tadpoles seem rather harmless to look at. That is the nature of deception.

14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

Notice how GOD gets the kings of the earth and the world to meet with His overcomers. GOD commands the services of unclean spirits to deceive and draw the political and religious leaders of the earth and the whole world into confrontation with HIMSELF. The terms "earth and the whole world" represent two segments of society -- religious and political. God forces evil, unclean spirits to gather His enemies to Armageddon. Then, God "cleans house" through His anointed overcomers. Jesus prophesied it when He "cleansed the temple."

Where do these spirits of demons come from? They come from the mouth of the dragon, the beast, and of the false prophet. There are stages of development in every "tare seed". First it must be sown and appears to be grain. As it matures it manifests its true nature. It is exposed in its maturity. These who perform signs are like frogs. A frog has two dominant characteristics. First, that of a tadpole which does not function as, nor appear to be, a frog. Just as there is a tare in every darnel seed there is a frog in every tadpole.

The kings of the earth and of the whole world will have military, political, economic and ecclesiastic power at their disposal. They will not hesitate to use it. But military might and political power are no threat to the Spirit of GOD. The Overcomers will have ONLY the Spirit of GOD with which to do battle. But that will be sufficient! The "Battle" will be one-sided from the start.

15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. 1 Thessalonians 5:1-5

1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of Man cometh. Matthew 25:1-13

The distinction between the five wise virgins and the five foolish virgins is not between those who are saved and those who are not saved. All ten were virgins. The five foolish virgins were like the Church at Corinth.

16 And He gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

Who is "He"? the Lord Jesus Christ. Who is "them"? the sovereignty of God draws all that belong to Antichrist together to Armageddon. How does He gather them together? Revelation 16:10-11.

Verse 16 is the only place in the whole Bible that mentions the term "Armageddon." It is a combination of two Hebrew words -- Har, meaning a range of hills (sometimes used symbolically), and Megiddown, meaning a rendezvous, or an appointed place of meeting. Megiddo also means a place of crowds or crowded. In the natural realm it is located on the southern rim of the Plain of Esdraelon. Esdraelon is the Greek form of the Hebrew word Jezreel, which means the Seed of God, or where God sows.

Where will Armageddon take place? MOST of the interpreters are using the standard textbooks of interpretation. And, most of them are wrong, for they are based upon faulty interpretations of other scriptures which have a bearing on the subject. We believe that the location is NOT in the valley of Megiddo, where many battles took place in Old Testament times. It is a GOD-appointed meeting place (rendezvous). On one side are the kings of the earth and of the whole world. On the other side is the Spirit of GOD through His anointed overcomers. (Much more detail on that in a later word.) It will be a fight-to-the-finish battle.

Not by might [military strength], nor by power [authority of man], but by My Spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. Zechariah 4:6

It is NOT a geographical location. It will be a world-wide rendezvous between the KINGS (governments and political-religious powers) of the EARTH, and the Spirit of God working in and through the class of people whom God calls the Overcomers. It will be a "show down" similar to what Elijah had with the prophets and priests of Baal at Carmel.

The most strategic site from which to observe Armageddon is Mount Carmel (fruitful, plentiful place). From this lofty height we can observe Armageddon in the panorama of the Jezreel Valley (where God sows). From the safety of Carmel we can be an observer of Armageddon in every detail. Armageddon is the symbolic site that represents the entire world and the hour of testing and containment from which there is no escape. Mount Carmel is where the "two opinions" problem is settled. 1 Kings 18:21 "How long will you falter between two opinions?" Carmel is where Elijah repaired the Altar of the Lord that was broken down. On Carmel His floor is purged, tried by fire and cleansed of the priests of Baal. Carmel is the sanctified place where the sound of abundance of rain is heard coming upon a dry and thirsty land. From Carmel the Prophet Elijah outran the chariots through the valley of Jezreel (where God sows). The only way to be kept from Armageddon is to be watchful and keep our garments. The people that the Lord has chosen and set apart are neither earth-dwellers nor reckoned among the nations. Those defeated at Armageddon will be those found naked. We still have a little time to make our garment spotlessly white in the Blood of the Lamb, that we not be found naked. There are no gray areas at Armageddon. We are either a secure observer with the garment of Salvation or we are naked.

Armageddon, and the scenario it portrays, cannot be considered without reference to Megiddo and Jezreel. Armageddon is not a flesh and blood battle on a postage-stamp-size piece of real estate in Palestine! Armageddon is world-wide; changing your residence will not be a way of escape. No piece of real estate, regardless of how remote, will escape the test of Armageddon. Megiddo means crowded. Armageddon is containment of the entire human race; there is no avoiding it. It will try those who dwell upon the earth.

Armageddon symbolizes the unprecedented and strangest type of conflict ever to be waged. It will be a battle which is not a natural, physical war. It is the final test of the garments for each person who claims to be a Christian.


3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white: for they are worthy.

5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before My Father, and before His angels.

6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. Revelation 3:3-6

In Verse 3, note that it does NOT say, "Remember therefore what thou hast received and heard;" it says remember HOW thou hast received." Big difference! The charismatic/Spirit-filled community today frequently gets enamored with "new" revelation, new meanings of Scripture. But we need a fresh revelation of HOW we have received. Unless the Lord gives us eyes to see and ears to hear, we are simply reveling in la-la land. We need a fresh revelation of Who the Lord is! We cannot be as the church at Ephesus which lost their first Love.

When will Armageddon take place? Only the Lord knows, but we believe it will be in the not-too-distant future. (There are historical and scriptural facts that seem to indicate that we have only about 15 more years.)

All military, political and religious systems will be neutralized by the Spirit of GOD through HIS overcomers. These present systems are all energized by the influence of Satan, who is the force behind all war and desire for rulership and power. The overcomers (out of the religious systems) will remain on the field when the battle is over. Humanity will be set free from the influence of Satan. The desire to dominate and make war will no longer be an influence of deception over mankind. The overcomers (out of the religious systems) are the stone cut out of the mountain (Daniel 2:45).

(NOTE: the above is only a quick overview. To go into detail will require a separate, rather lengthy word. But see Revelation 12, Isaiah 66, Romans 8, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, and Joel 1-2 for starters.)

The result of Satan being bound (disabled)? One whole generation of humanity will be snatched from the prince of the power of the air, (when his influence over mankind is canceled) and will claim Jesus Christ as KING. And, given the present population explosion, that will be a very large harvest that is reaped for God.

And He that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped. Revelation 14:16

As the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be in the end of this age.

36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and His disciples came unto Him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

Attachment 1: The Four Rivers in Genesis 2 

8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there He put the man whom He had formed.

9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

10 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.

11 The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;

12 And the gold of that land is good: there is bellium and the onyx stone.

13 And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.

14 And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates. Genesis 2:8-14

The River of life that went out of Eden divided into four heads in the Garden to administer and cultivate its abundance to the perfect, undeveloped, creation. The four rivers speak prophetically of the four corners of the earth ... all of creation. It was, and is, God's intention that the River of Life, the gospel of the kingdom of God, embodied in the Person of His Son, go out to all of the world. The names of the four rivers are symbolic. It is significant that the first river mentioned went southwest, the second went southeast, the third went east, and the fourth went west. None of the four rivers went north. Moving north symbolically signifies moving away from Zion, where God dwells.

"The name of the first River is Pison, which encompasses the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold. And the gold of that land is good: there is bellium and the onyx stone "(Genesis 2:10-12). Havilah, the second son of Cush (the first son was Sheba), probably speaks of Egypt, where Solomon got much of his gold and precious stones (from the queen of Sheba). The Pison River thus speaks of all that Egypt represents.

"The name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia [or Cush, a son of Ham]" (Genesis 2:13). Cush was/is a black man. Ethiopia, with a population approaching 100 million, is the largest land-locked nation in the world. In the 4th century it was the first major empire in the world to officially adopt Christianity as a state religion.

The name of the third river is Hiddekel (or Tigris), which means "rapid." Since this river goes toward the east of Assyria, it seems to be associated with countries that are now primarily Muslim in nature.

Euphrates means "fruitfulness," or the "good and abounding river." It was intended to be the most important of all rivers. In its fruitfulness it was to fulfill, throughout its course, the purpose of the unnamed River of Life that flowed out of Eden to water its enclosed Garden and from there cultivate the whole earth. Euphrates signifies prosperity and abundance; the Lord's gracious supply for mankind. What country could this possibly speak of other than the United States? The United States has been the most blessed country on earth with great abundance and prosperity. But the predominantly white charismatic/Spirit-filled community has had its opportunity and failed. From our observation and experience, the black Christian community has also failed. But the Word of God will yet be fulfilled! Praise the Lord!

Paradox in the Apocalypse

Below is not a word from my father, but from a dearly departed brother and prophet in the Lord. I hope this will be a blessing to you. 

Paradox in the Apocalypse

Revelation 1:1 "The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to Him to show His servants things which must shortly take place. And He signified it by His angel to His servant John."

Signify = To make known, communicate by signs, speech or action.

The book of Revelation is a prophecy regarding the church and its inheritance, the Kingdom. One of the beatitudes of the prophecy is: "Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near." Signs, symbols, pictographs and descriptive language, foreign to the casual Bible reader, communicate its message. It does not describe things as they appear, but as they are. Many of its predicted judgments and plagues occur in the microscopic realm. A great portion of Humanity will not accept the plagues to be the result of their lifestyle, but will seek safe methods by which to practice their perversions. Rev. 9:21 "They did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts." One third of mankind had been destroyed by self-induced plagues, and yet they had not repented. 

Globalism will unfold in a perfectly normal manner as a necessary world remedy for the ills and woes of mankind. There will be a time of peace and utopia with a world religion absorbing all religions. Many professing Christians, believing they will be caught away, will become completely disoriented. Their Biblical understanding will be twisted to fit the New World Order. Nonprofit religious organizations will compromise to keep their material holdings. Jesus admonishes His Church in Matt. 24:9, "Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My Name's sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved." (In the face of persecution) "This gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come."

The prophecy of Revelation is filled with paradox. For emphasis here are a few. There are many more. 

1. Seven golden lamp stands which are not lamp stands.

2. Seven stars which are not stars.

3. A sharp two-edged sword which is not a sword.

4. Balaam who is not Balaam.

5. Balak who is not Balak.

6. A new name which is not new.

7. Jezebel who is not Jezebel.

8. A prophetess who is not a prophetess.

9. A rod of iron which is not a rod of iron.

10. The Morning Star which is not a star.

11. A pillar which is not a pillar.

12. A writing which is not a writing.

13. Wealth that is poverty.

14. Poverty that is wealth.

15. A Lamb who is not a lamb.

16. One hundred forty four thousand who are not 144,000.

17. The Lamb clothed with white robes, which is not a lamb clothed with white robes.

18. A woman clothed with the sun, the moon under her feet, on her head a garland of 12 stars, which is neither woman, garland, sun, moon, nor stars.

19. A man child who is neither a man nor a child.

20. Ark of the Covenant which is not the Ark of the Covenant.

21. Jerusalem which is not Jerusalem.

22. A wilderness of barrenness which is a place of sustenance.

23. Wealth, abundance and affluence which is a wilderness of poverty and death.

24. A dragon who is not a dragon.

25. A serpent who is not a serpent.

26. A beast who is not a beast.

27. An image which is not an icon.

28. An element which is an icon.

29. A number which is not a number.

30. The Great River Euphrates which is not a river.

31. Sojourners upon the earth who dwell in heaven.

32. A battle that is not a flesh and blood war.

ARMAGEDDON THE LAST GREAT CONFLICT 

THE BATTLE WHICH IS NOT A WAR 

In the New Testament Armageddon occurs only in Revelation 16:15,16, where Jesus says: "BEHOLD I AM COMING AS A THIEF. BLESSED IS HE WHO WATCHES AND KEEPS HIS GARMENTS LEST HE WALK NAKED AND THEY SEE HIS SHAME. AND THEY GATHERED THEM TOGETHER TO THE PLACE CALLED IN HEBREW, ARMAGEDDON."

Armageddon symbolizes the unprecedented and strangest type of conflict ever to be waged. IT IS THE TEST OF THE GARMENTS. Rev 3:3-5"... I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments, and they shall walk with Me in white for they are worthy." He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels."

Rev. 3:10,11 "... I also will keep," to keep means to be a spectator, to guard from loss or injury, "you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell upon the earth. Behold I come quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown." The most strategic site from which to observe Armageddon is Mount Carmel. From this lofty height you can observe Armageddon in the panorama of the Jezreel Valley (where God sows). From the safety of Carmel you can be an observer of Armageddon in every detail. Armageddon is the symbolic site that represents the entire world and the hour of testing and containment from which there is no escape. Mount Carmel is where the "two opinions" problem is settled. 1 Kings 18:21 "How long will you falter between two opinions?" Carmel is where Elijah repaired the Altar of the Lord that was broken down. On Carmel His floor is purged, tried by fire and cleansed of the priests of Baal. Carmel is the sanctified place where the sound of abundance of rain is heard coming upon a dry and thirsty land. From Carmel (fruitful place) the Prophet Elijah outran the chariots through the valley of Jezreel (where God sows). Rev. 16:15 "Behold I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame." The only way to be kept from Armageddon is to be watchful and keep your garments. The people the Lord has chosen and set apart are neither earth-dwellers nor reckoned among the nations. Those defeated at Armageddon will be those found naked. You still have a little time to make your garment spotlessly white in the Blood of the Lamb, that you not be found naked.

Har-Magedon = the hill of Megiddo.

Megiddo = place of crowds or crowded. It is located on the southern rim of the Plain of Esdraelon. Esdraelon is the Greek form of the Hebrew word Jezreel. Jezreel means the Seed of God, or where God sows.

Matthew 13:37-43 "He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one. The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels." (messengers). "Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be in the end of this age. The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. THEN THE RIGHTEOUS WILL SHINE FORTH AS THE SUN IN THE KINGDOM OF THEIR FATHER. HE WHO HAS EARS TO HEAR, LET HIM HEAR." Who is the sower of the seed that appears to be grain but is tares? Lucifer! Who are the unclean, frog like, spirits coming out of the mouth of the dragon, beast, and false prophet? They are the emissaries of Lucifer!

Rev. 16: 16 "They gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon." Who are the "they" who do the gathering. The "they" are spirits of demons, performing signs which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world to gather them. Where do these spirits of demons come from? They come from the mouth of the dragon, the beast, and of the false prophet. There are stages of development in every "tare seed". First it must be sown and appears to be grain. As it matures it manifests its true nature. It is defrocked in its maturity and exposed. These who perform signs, and do the gathering, are like frogs. A frog has two dominate characteristics. First, that of a tadpole which does not function as, nor appear to be, a frog. Just as there is a tare in every darnel seed there is a frog in every tadpole. There are no gray areas at Armageddon. You are either a secure observer with the garment of Salvation or you are naked.

Armageddon, and the scenario it portrays, cannot be considered without reference to Megiddo and Jezreel. Armageddon is not a flesh and blood battle on a postage-stamp-size piece of real estate in Palestine! Armageddon is World-wide, changing your residence will not be a way of escape. No piece of real estate, regardless of how remote, will escape the test of Armageddon. Megiddo means crowded. Armageddon is containment of the entire human race; there is no avoiding it. It will try those who dwell upon the earth. Whether present or absent the body of Christ is not an earth-dwelling people.

During 1946-47, while in the midst of a civil war, I experienced being caught and contained in a crowd of thousands of people in the face of slaughter. There was no escape. Where the crowd went, I went. I was helplessly restricted; Armageddon (crowded) is containment. In the Patmos vision of John, trumpets are messages and warnings accompanied by selective judgments; bowls are all-inclusive judgment upon the ungodly and those who hold the truth in unrighteousness.

When lightning breaks the sound barrier it thunders; thunder is the voice of lightning. Thunder refers to God, Who is Light, speaking. I hear the rolling thunder announcing the inevitable battle of that great day of God Almighty.

TWO VISITS TO EUPHRATES

Events related to Armageddon, the Euphrates and the sixth Angel (messenger), characterized by the messenger of the sixth assembly at Philadelphia. In Revelation 3:7, 10 the sixth Angel visits the Great River Euphrates for the first time. This great River, vital to the fertile crescent (first mentioned in Genesis 2:14) was the greatest of four Rivers whose source was the unnamed River of Life coming out of Eden to water the Garden. This unnamed River was the source of Life to the Garden enclosed in the matrix of Eden. Like the four letters of the nucleotides that determine the great variety of living things, the unnamed River reveals its Characteristics and attributes through four River heads (Revelation 9:14). It was of this nameless River the Psalmist sang, "There is a River that shall make glad the City of God." The Name of this River has been revealed in the Everlasting Covenant. It is Jesus (Jeshua)! John 1:4 "In Him was life, and the life was the light of men." This River of life, manifesting itself as the Tree of Life, breaks into four River heads in the Garden to administer and cultivate its abundance to the perfect, undeveloped, Creation. The other three rivers of Eden: the Pishon (flowing), Gihon (stream) and Hiddekel (rapid), are described as to their individual courses. The meaning of the names of the four rivers can form a beautiful statement: "Rapid, flowing, fruitful stream."

In Genesis 2:14, the Great Euphrates is referred to as the fourth River without referring to its course. This calls attention to the meaning of its name and its universal function relative to the unnamed Source River. Euphrates means fruitfulness, or the "Good and abounding River." It is the most important largest River. In its fruitfulness it fulfills, throughout its course, the purpose of the Unnamed River of Life that flowed out of Eden to water its enclosed Garden and from there cultivate the undeveloped earth. Euphrates, in Revelation 9:14 and 16:12 signifies prosperity and abundance; the Lord's gracious supply for Mankind. The first visit of the sixth Angel with a trumpet to the Euphrates (Revelation 9:14) ensues in a sustained warning judgment upon those who have misconstrued and abused the abundant supply provided by the Living God who causes it to rain upon the just and the unjust. They are absorbed in the works of their hands who worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk; they are preoccupied with murder, sorcery, sexual immorality, and thefts.

This judgment that destroys one third of Mankind comes from the microscopic realm and is vividly described. These three plagues have "hosts" carriers characterized by horsemen. Revelation 9:19 "Their power is in their mouth and in their tails, for their tails are like serpents, having heads, and with them they do harm." This is an alarming symbolic description of perversion being the agent of plague. 1 Corinthians 6:18 "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." Although warned by the trumpet and the selective judgment that kills one third of Mankind, verse 20 says, "still they did not repent."

This first visit to Euphrates signifies the destructive forces bound and sustained in prosperity and abundance. When the provision abundantly supplied by the Holy Father is taken for granted and is wasted on debauchery the messengers of judgment are released. These 4 messengers are prepared for the hour, day, month, and year; meaning this foreordained preparation is recorded as an irrevocable decree upon the generation fulfilling the role of the days of Noah, of Sodom and of Gomorrah. I often think of how the Aristocracy of Egypt destroyed its prosperity and perpetuation through a deceptive appetite; their abundant tables were prestigiously marked with expensive powdered lead, which they sprinkled on their food. Had some one warned them they were lacing their feasts with death, they would have laughed you to scorn. When one gets leaded, it's a slow, not always detectable, but sure, process.

The second and last visit of the sixth Angel to the Great River is not with a trumpet of warning and selective judgment. The Messenger now has a Bowl that he pours out and completely dries up the Great River. (Revelation 16:12). All restraint is removed; the Abundant Supply is dried up. The Source (Jesus) has withdrawn the waters of the good and abounding River. The way for the kings of the East is prepared; they will be gathered through deceptive miracles. Revelation 16:13 "And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet". Here we see the Satanic trinity, the counterfeit of the Heavenly One Tri-unity. This unholy trinity, described not as it appears but as it is, has its dedicated media-propaganda tool. Where there are tadpoles there has to be frogs. Frogs metamorphose from tadpoles. Regardless of appearance, a frog is always present in every tadpole. By appearance a tadpole has no resemblance to a frog. A better creature cannot be found to signify deception. The counterfeit trinity emerges from its tadpole state to reveal its true identity.

The Holy Father reveals His fullness in Jesus, whose testimony is through His Vicar, the Holy Spirit of prophecy, who always magnifies the Lordship of Jesus. His prophets, His Mouth, the Church, His anointed, His Body, is a prophetic Organism. Psalms 105:13-15 "When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people, He permitted no one to do them wrong. Yes, He removed kings for their sakes, saying, 'DO NOT TOUCH MY ANOINTED ONES, AND DO MY PROPHETS NO HARM.'" The dragon, the father of lies, who reveals his fatherhood in the harlot who is carried by, and is one with, her consort the beast and the false prophet.

JEZEBEL AND NABOTH'S VINEYARD

There is no better place to have a vineyard than in Jezreel (where God sows). Naboth's lucrative vineyard, his ancestral inheritance with a history of abundance was adiacent to the seat of government. The vineyard was for only one purpose: to produce the fruit of the vine. Ahab (uncle) coveted Naboth's vineyard. When offered money or another vineyard, Naboth refused, saying, "The Lord forbid that I should give the inheritance of my fathers to you." Ahab (uncle) wanted to change Naboth's vineyard, with its fruit of the vine, into a garden of mixed vegetables. Jezebel, the chaste harlot, the fallible infallible, said to him, "You now exercise authority over Israel! Arise and eat food, and let your heart be cheerful; I will give you the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite." 1 Kings 21:7. Whatever belonged to Ahab (uncle) would also belong to Jezebel. Uncle didn't realize his lightly taken love affair with Jezebel had cost him his kingship. Jezebel his queen and Secretary of State, now has access to the Great Seal of Uncle's government.

The prosperous City of Naboth (fruits) was the result of being established in Jezreel (where God sows). There were elders and nobles in Naboth who were so involved in their prosperity they saw Jezebel as "chaste" and not as the harlot she was. In their desire for ecumenism, the elders popped to attention when Jezebel, now in possession of the Great Seal, proclaimed a fast and prayer conference. They overlooked her past acts of inquisition and slaying of the Prophets. Their assessment of her was confirmed when she ordered that Naboth be seated with high honor in the great convocation. They did not perceive the frog in the tadpole, therefore were deceived by Jezebel when they themselves would be used to slay the Man they should have been anxious to preserve. Now Jezebel and Ahab (uncle) were One in their desire to turn the inherited Vineyard, for producing the fruit of the vine, into a garden of mixed vegetables. It is said a Con Man can periodically return to the same area and con the same people. Jezebel cannot take Naboth's vineyard by force nor is this her intention. She is now tadpoling, quoting Scripture, taking a fasting and prayer posture. Prayer and fast meetings are generally called at a time of crisis. Naboth's vineyard had precipitated a crisis not only in Ahab's (uncle's) government but in Jezebel's priesthood that feasted at her table. As Uncle's Queen and Secretary of State she had access to the government Seal. She could now fulfill her agenda through the disguise of civil authority.

Jezebel's method was to dramatize this holy unholy event by exalting Naboth to the chief seat before bringing him down and making an ally of the Elders and Nobles attending the prayer conference. She didn't attend the prayer conference; she sent Observers. She sent two ordained scoundrels to the fast. At the high point in this great ecumenical prayer meeting they falsely accused Naboth of blasphemy against God and the government. Naboth was stoned by the Elders and people who had unwittingly been turned into a tool of evil to destroy their prize vineyard which bore the name of Naboth. All this intrigue for the purpose of integrating the chosen vineyard into a politico-religious garden of mixed vegetables. John 16:2 "Yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service. And these things they will do to you because they have not known the Father nor Me.''

Centuries later Jesus the Son of God, our Lord, admonished His Church when asked the question, "Do you think it is lawful to pay taxes to Caesar?" answered, "Show me the tax money." (Matthew 22:21). When handed a coin, Jesus asked, "Whose image and inscription is this?" They answered, "Caesar's". Jesus answered, "Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar's and to God the things that are God's." Here Jesus is warning, don't mix my handiwork with Caesar's. Give Caesar his tax, be ideal citizens, but don't cross the line I have drawn. If you do, some day, in order to keep the nonprofit status, you will be required to make a vegetable Garden out of My Vineyard." Ahab (uncle) having some restraint, had good intentions until Jezebel gained control of Uncle's Great Seal.

I recently heard a government official equate terrorism with anyone promoting "Apocalyptic literature". (Referring to the Book of Revelation)

JEZEBEL AND UNCLE

The Plain of Esdraelon (Jezreel, where God sows) is the site of another apocalyptic event being reenacted in fulfillment at this present time. The system, famous for its infamy characterized by Jezebel, plays a key role in events portrayed in the book of Revelation. Ahab means "uncle". I often think of him when I recall, the government and people of the U.S.A. are represented by an extension of, the initials U.S. often displayed on posters as Uncle Sam.

Bible prophecy applies to any individual, Nation, or generation fulfilling the role of his or its original intent. Ahab (uncle), the seventh king of Israel was strongly warned by the Word of the Lord not to cohabit with the Sidonians from which Jezebel was the offspring. (Joshua 13:4-6). The Constitution of his set-apart, now divided, nation, could never be compatible with the mixed idolatrous agenda of the Sidonians.

Sometimes it takes centuries but the invasion of evil, under various disguises, is persistent in accomplishing its purpose. Jezebel was the concentration of everything antithetical to the Nation Ahab (uncle) governed. Jezebel's craftiness is not to be underestimated. She describes and defines the wiles of her prophetic counterpart in the unholy trinity: the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet. (Revelation 16:13).

Jezebel has, in her loins an ancestry adept in developing intrigue and deception. Her name means "chaste"; she is a well-camouflaged politico-religious anomaly. The frog (marsh jumper) describes her ability to adapt to each swamp she visits. Ahab (uncle) became vulnerable, liberal in his thinking, and strays from the Divinely Inspired Constitution of the Nation he governed. Uncle saw Jezebel in her tadpole state; she had not yet metamorphosed into the Frog (marsh hopper) of her nature.

1 Kings 16:31 "And it came to pass, as though it had been a trivial thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam, the son of Nebat, that he took as wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Sidonians; and he went and served Baal in the temple of Baal, which he had built in Samaria." In his love affair and marriage to Jezebel, Ahab embraced the priestly cultus she succored. Like Romolus, the founder of Rome, and Remus his twin, she was nourished and sustained through the udders of a Beast. Cohabiting with Jezebel produces a sick bed and great tribulation. (Revelation 2:20-23). These things happened during the days of a prophet who was an anomaly in that he was difficult to locate. John 3:8 "The wind blows where it wishes, and you can hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit." He is simply Elijah the Tishbite. Malachi 4:5 "Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and dreadful day of the Lord."

Ahab, (uncle), though disguised, was totally unaware of the coming event that would test his garment, his armor. A foreordained arrow, by a single nondescript soldier shooting a supposedly "chance arrow", found a vulnerable spot in Uncle's secure insecure garment. Uncle, blinded by Jezebel's sorcery, slowly bled to death in his military devise. 1 Kings 22:38 "Then someone washed the chariot at the pool of Samaria, and the dogs licked up the blood while the harlots bathed, according to the Word of the Lord which He had spoken."

It was also at Jezreel where Jezebel met her predicted fate.

Jezebel tries to seduce "the living".

In 2 Kings 9:30, Jehu (the living) had come to Jezreel (where God sows). Jezebel heard of it and she put paint on her eyes and adorned her head, and looked through a window. She, in her ridiculous garb and head piece, from her upper floor opening proudly looked out upon Jezreel. (where God sows). Jehu (the living) looked up at the window and said, "Who is on my side? Who?" And two or three eunuchs looked out at him. The message of Jehu (the living) had already invaded the house of Jezebel, who was unaware that some of her eunuchs had received life. She was thrown down by the eunuchs, celibates, dedicated to serve her, and trampled by horses. It came to pass according to the Word of the Lord through Elijah the Tishbite, "On the plot of ground at Jezreel (where God sows) dogs shall eat the flesh of Jezebel." Jezebel's prophetic counterpart is the woman that rides upon, and is carried by, the beast. Revelation 17:7 "I will tell you the mystery of the woman and the beast that carries her which has seven heads and ten horns." Revelation 17:16 "And the ten horns which you saw on the beast, these will hate the Harlot, make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire."
